Resetting a username or password with Joomla 1.6 is easy.

To reset the Joomla 1.6 username or password for any user,
1) Login to the Joomla administrator.
2) Select 'User Manager' icon.
3) Select a User
4) Change Login Name, if desired.
5) Change password and confirm password, if desired.
5) Select 'Save' or 'Save and Close'.
